the Challenge
- The husband loves to bring his wife coffee in bed every morning. So they wanted a coffee bar area in the master bedroom that was convenient and elegant.
- While there were large his & hers closet, the husband pointed out that he didn’t need all the space he had, it could be repurposed for the wine and coffee bar.
the Solution
- We redesigned his closet to be more efficient with less space.
- Reclaiming the space from his closet we designed a galley style kitchenette adjacent to the master bedroom.
- We designed and fabricated floor to ceiling custom millwork.
- This new space is loaded with amenities including a wine refrigerator, beverage refrigerator, built-in coffee maker, dishwasher drawer and even a concealed petite microwave.
- We added an exterior door at the end of the kitchenette to capture daylight. The exterior door now allows direct access to the jacuzzi that is conveniently located just outside the door.
- An inviting wrought iron table and chairs furnish the area outside this master breakfast bar, allowing our clients to transition from coffee in bed to breakfast on the patio.
- The clients love the ability to have all their favorite breakfast foods and juices just steps away from their bed.
