About Us

Our Story
With a bachelor’s degree in fine art and a minor in interior design, as well as a second bachelor’s degree in education, Kimberly Coffman launched Fine Art Interiors in 2007 as a full service interior design firm serving upscale clients in Tucson, Scottsdale, Paradise Valley and beyond.
When you’re ready for one-of-a-kind interiors that truly reflect your lifestyle, you’ve found the right designer. We deliver custom design at the highest quality for a reasonable investment.
While we love selecting beautiful furnishings and decor (we could get lost in fabric or tile showrooms for DAYS!), our mission is to take the beauty of our clients’ spaces even further than “canvas deep” by creating masterpieces meant for everyday living.
We’re here to solve your home’s design and functionality problems. Our understanding of the construction side of remodels and new builds allows a smooth path for you to achieve the home of your dreams.
Our clients love us not only for the quality of our work, but also because they know they can trust our reputation for fairness. When you work with us, you’ll rest assured knowing we will only ever steer you in the directions that have your best interests in mind.
Fine Art Interiors has been featured on HGTV, Tucson Lifestyle and in the Arizona Daily Star.

“Kimberly took the remodel experience from one of anxiety and anguish to one of excitement and relief”
Our very large scale remodel and addition project was overwhelming until we found Kimberly, who instantly put us at ease. She helped us with communication issues with our contractor and took the remodel experience from one of anxiety and anguish to one of excitement and relief. We trusted her opinions and appreciated her fairness and professionalism. She helped us choose high quality workmanship but at the same time saved us so much money. We even trusted her opinion when she thought we should spend a little bit more money for beauty or convenience in the long run – such as motorizing some of our larger window coverings. She was always right!”

Meet Kimberly
“I don’t underestimate what an intimate process it is to create a space where you’ll watch your children or grandchildren grow up, celebrate special occasions, find comfort, and live your daily life. Home truly is where our hearts are, so it’s a special honor to be chosen to create a beautiful and inspirational home for you and your loved ones to enjoy.”

Kimberly is inspired by her extensive fine art and art history background.
Inspired by her extensive fine art and art history backgrounds, Kimberly brings a European sensibility to her designs. She learned the art of a well cultured lifestyle on her travels to Paris. Germany influenced her unerring attention to every detail and appreciation for organization. Her travels to Modena, Italy and her tours of Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Pagani encouraged her skills in collaborating with craftsmen and artisans to deliver beautifully designed and crafted interiors.
Kimberly gained an appreciation for style and design from an early age. She grew up surrounded by art as her mother was an artist who painted and sculpted. Kimberly often snuck into her mother’s art studio to “borrow” her art supplies and at times, to revise her mother’s in-process clay sculptures. Her mother inspired her to look for the beauty in nature and even experience new environments to shape her creativity.
When Kimberly was five years old her family lived in an authentic teepee in West Virginia for nine months. Her mother’s unconventional approach encouraged Kimberly to embrace new surroundings and create a beautiful home environment wherever she lives. With this perspective, Kimberly works in a diverse range of design styles and leads a variety of projects, from new construction to renovation and re-imagining existing spaces with furnishings and decor.

When not designing custom interiors and turning her clients’ homes into their treasured personal sanctuaries, you’ll find Kimberly baking her latest recipe mashup, or in her studio working on her oil paintings. She enjoys traveling with her husband Mac, and their Weimaraner, Gracie. Kimberly and Mac have a shared passion for travel and wine, and they often visit her sister and brother-in-law on their vineyard to explore new varietals and add to their growing knowledge of winemaking.
